Graduating students of Secondary school Etoi and Apostolic Church Secondary School, Ikot Oku Nsit, and others have been advised to be good ambassadors as they move to the next level of their academic pursuit and a new phase of life.
This advice was given by the Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Education Monitoring, Akparawa Udeme Udofia during on-the-spot monitoring of the ongoing West Africa senior school certificate examination WASSCE, to ensure compliance with good examination conduct and possibly forestall the breakdown of law and order.
Udofia urged the intending graduands to imbibe the school’s core values which include the fear of God, hard work, honesty, and humility in all their endeavors if they want to be good ambassadors of their alma mater and succeed in life.

Udofia however, expressed disappointment on the part of the students for “Defacing the school walls with the demoralizing writeup, insult to teachers, threats to the life of the teachers and principal” said, such a lifestyle would lead to complete failure in life and equally advised them to return to their families peacefully.
He equally charged the students generally to imbibe the culture of reciting the Daakada creed and singing the state anthem, saying the wordings are inspiring enough to make them think positively of their future and shun nocturnal activities.
He charged the SS2 students as the most senior now, to take up leadership responsibilities in the school and impact the school environment positively. He however cautioned on hooliganism and victimization of the junior students.
At secondary school Eton, while addressing the vice principals, urges them to emulate and cooperate with the principal whom he described as proactive. He noted that some of them were qualified to be principals by academic qualification but would be unable to discharge their duties creditable and efficiently unless they learn and get equipped for the job.
