An indigenous organizations that specializes in real estate development and giving Nigerian affordable and stardand accommodation in the country, REIM Orange Global Limited has called on Akwa Ibom youths to be economical viable and utilise opportunities given to them by Rein Global limited to create wealth for themselves so as to alleviate poverty in our society.
This was handed down yesterday by the honourary special adviser to governor Udom Emmanuel on socio development and humanitarian services Dr. Ekpedeme Udom during a one day youths empowerment and wealth creation conference held at NUT house, IBB way, Uyo.
The summit which was tagged, Ibom Youth Empowerment /Wealth Creation is aimed at training Akwa Ibom youths on digital marketing.
Speaking further, Dr. Udom lauded the development strides of gov. Udom Emmanuel in area of peace and human capacity development, which according to her has helped many people become independent, she called on the youths to engage themselves in productive venture inoder to competes with their contemporaries across the country.
Udom who said that government can’t provide employment for everyone, charged the youth to be creative and availed themselves of any opportunity that may come their way to build egalitarian society for all, maintaind that when one is focus and dedicated to his work he or she must definitely success.
Addressing participats, the State coordinator of REIM in Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Elizabeth Williams says the program will changed the narrative of Akwa Ibom people in no distant time because it will support their livelihood in area of entrepreneurial development, she further described youth as being instrumental to the development of any society and advised them to key into the revolution in the ICT if they want to be relevant. Mose so she noted that REIM Orange is all out to transformed people and make them better in their endervous.
Others who address the youth includes, Mr. Nnamdi Akanas, director of administration of REIM, Mr. Imo Ebong, a veteran journalist, Elder Luke Ekanem and Mr. Uchenna Orji, meanwhile the event also feature empowerment of 40 people with cash cash gift to support their businesse, while the free digital marketing traning is billed to take place on Monday at 97 Udo Umana street, Uyo.
