Nsit Ibom Council Boss Commends Gov. Umo Eno’s Commitment to Rural Development

Deaconess Otobong Aaron, the Executive Chairman of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, expressed her admiration for Governor Umo Bassey Eno’s dedicated efforts in advancing rural development in the state.

During a meeting with the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors, she praised the Governor for his people-centered and purpose-driven leadership style. She emphasized that Governor Eno is committed to improving the lives of all citizens, including the people of Nsit Ibom, and she shared her belief that they will greatly benefit from his administration.

Deaconess Aaron proudly highlighted the remarkable accomplishments of the Local Government council under her guidance, reaffirming her unwavering commitment to ensuring effective performance in her role. She listed several achievements, such as providing modern furniture for offices, renovating and beautifying the Council Secretariat, offering training programs for 100 youth and women to equip them with valuable skills, and providing a monthly stipends of โ‚ฆ10,000 to 55 individuals across the wards.

Additionally, the council boss has constructed a two-bedroom apartment for a widow who was a victim of the 2022 floods, drilled boreholes for Demonstration Primary School in Afaha Nsit, rehabilitated and equipped the Health Centre in Ikot Obio Etan, allocated the second phase of furniture allowance to seven councilors and twelve executives, purchased a new vehicle for the Council Secretary, and provided direct support to individuals throughout the local government.She commended the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors for their collective efforts in promoting and defending Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE agenda.

Deaconess Aaron encouraged them to spread the message of the Governor’s agenda far and wide across the state.Earlier, the Chairman of the Executive Council, Rev’d Richard Peters, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ernest Akpan, congratulated Deaconess Aaron for her impressive achievements within a few months in office. They announced their presence in the local government area to inaugurate the Nsit Ibom Chapter of the A.R.I.S.E.

Ambassadors and assured that similar inaugurations would take place in all local government chapters across the state.In recognition of her leadership and dedication, the Chairman was honored as the Matron of the A.R.I.S.E. Ambassadors.
