It was praise ,worship, joy, blessings, drama, and excitement unlimited as parents, pupils, teachers,friend and clegys thronged the serene and well confined environment of Qua Iboe Church Nursery and Primary school, Obontong/ Nkwot/ Ikot Idem, in Nsit Ibom local government Area to celebrate the 2021 parents Day celebration and get-together party.
Addressing journalists at the sideline of the celebration, Hon. Iniobong Etuk, who is Supervisor For Economic Development in Nsit Ibom local government Area said the aim of the ceremony was to gather and celebrate with the pupils, students and parents as well as the school for the feat so far achieved, urged the pupils to be good ambassadors of the institution where ever they go and expressed joy over the visible positive attitudes exhibited by teachers having been deeply impacted in learning and character, describing it as a good development.

Hon Etuk advised parents whose desires is to have their wards totally reformed and informed on global trends for a better and successful future to embrace the opportunity by sending their children to Qua Iboe Church Nursery and Primary school Obontong, which he said was reliable, good, and trusted partners in child upbringing for a fulfilled future.
“Pupils, don’t be intimidating by anything, you all are winners, your education friendly Chairman, Hon. Eric Akpan has set the pace in educational sector, he is educated, pragmatic and always ready to support any education advancement causes in Nsit Ibom.”

In her welcome speech, Head Teacher of Qua Iboe Church Nursery and Primary school Obontong Nkwot Ikot Idem, Deaconess Ime Umoh gave glory to God Almighty for the enablement to gather and witness the second edition celebration of parents Day celebration, saying they have shown outstanding qualities in character as parents.
Deac. Umoh stressed that the School was established to educate and nurture children who will be future leaders and administrators in the Country and much more, saying the Academy is committed to providing complete and qualitative, spiritual education with integrity to children from different backgrounds.

“To our esteemed parents,I really appreciate your sacrifice toward the development of your wards and for entrusting them into our care, your labour shall never be in vain.”
On his part, the PTA chairman of the school, Elder, D. J Etuk, carefully thank teachers for the sound training, which according to him, pupils are groomed academically, morally, spiritually and physically to exhibit the best that God has embedded in them.” He intoned.

He thanked parents for their untiring efforts to prime their children for a better educational involvement and attainments in the future. The event was chaired by Mr. Victor Bassey.
High point of the celebration was donation by Hon. Iniobong Etuk, cultural dance, songs presentation by parents, bible recitation, drama and lots more.
