November 8th, 2019 will be a day of merriment, thanksgiving and praise in the life of Mrs. Umoinyang Mbakwo and members of her family as they will be celebrating her 107 birthday anniversary in the historic city of Ikot Ekpene.
Madam Mbakwo, wife of the first chairman of local government administration in British West Africa (Ikot Ekpene) thanked God for sustaining her life till date, pleaded with Nigerians to work toward restoring peace across the country, ” i thanked president Buhari and governor Udom Emmanuel for the good things they are doing, they should remember the youths by engaging them on meaningful things to reduce crime in Ikot Ekpene”.
The centenarian further express her heartfelt gratitude to Arc. Nya-Etok for his prompt response and his concern when she was sick , pray for the philanthropist to do more that God will bless him for touching lives.
The progenitor of A-One foundation Arc. Nya-Etok (Youth headmaster) in a chat with journalists said he want to add color to mama’s birthday that’s why he opened an account for her with Access Bank in Ikot Ekpene, called on government, corporate organization and public spirited individuals to contributes toward giving Mrs. Mbakwo a suitable lifestyle.
The gubernatorial candidate of Young Democratic Party (YDP) in the March 2019 general election, further explained that the account bearing madam Mbakwo name will be managed by her daughter Mrs Amasuwa Essien and use purely for her welfare. Etok added that the centenarian still walked on her own and read without glasses as well as doing farm work and as such she deserved to be celebrated.
The international housing consultant, said people’s can tap into mama’s blessings by paying into the bank account which could be access via office of the citizen of Akwa Ibom State facebook page for the upcoming birthday celebration.
