… commends Gov. Umo Eno on Arise Agenda

The newly sworn-in Commissioner for Environment and Mineral Resources Rt. Hon. Uno Etim Uno has officially resumed duty at the Ministry’s secretariat Uyo.
While interacting with journalists in his office, on Monday, 31st July 2023, Chief Uno thanked His Excellency Gov Umo Eno for finding him worthy for re-appointment and subsequent re-deployment to the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources as a Commissioner to deliver on the objective of the Arise Agenda.
Chief Uno explained that his reappointment and re-deployment to the ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources demands working together with all the staff of the Ministry and Relavant stakeholders in order to achieve the set goals of the Arise Agenda of the governor in promoting clear and safe environment for Akwa Ibom people.
Furthermore, the Commissioner opined that his interaction with the staff of the Ministry, particularly the Permanent Secretary and Directors in the Ministry has been very encouraging; hence indicating positive Ministerial working spirit for greater achievements and sustainability.
He added that Gov. Umo Eno is a proactive Leader who is poised to reposition the state for inclusive development inline with his Arise Agenda philosophy.
Uno said “Gov. Umo Eno prompt response to finding lasting solution to the perennial flooding menace at the Atiku Ababaka way in Uyo has obviously proven that the governor is a responsive Leader who is poised to make a great positive different in the state.”
Chief who is known for his consistent advocacy for the adoption of the right democratic imperatives, intentional approach to governance, and value-driven leadership, informed that Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has the prerequisite imperatives to achieve his inclusive developmental projects through the Arise Agenda for share prosperity and development for the good of Akwa Ibom people, seek for all round success from all snd sundry for him to succeed.
