The international housing consultant, a renowned architect who is the brain behind the social governance ideology (SGI), a true democrat and the progenitor of A-One foundation Arc Ezekiel Nya-Etok handed this down while interacting with the youth wing of Methodist Church Nigeria, during the occasion of the 2019 young men’s business and leadership colloquium organised by the church on the theme : The Diligent men , at the church worship hall, Wesley chapel, Nsikak Edouk Avenue, Uyo.

The Ikot Ekpene born philanthropist maintaind that for the youth to succeed in leadership they must undergo tutelage from the elderly ones who have been in leadership positions for years and have the experience as it involved processes which must not be avoided. He noted that if good leaders are given the mandate to lead, the narrative of Akwa Ibom people will change. He called on governor Udom Emmanuel to channel the state resources to education, adding that with education, the state will reap bountifully in years to come and poverty will also be surmounted.
The principal partner of novone consult limited further stressed that Akwa Ibom is not an agricultural driven state because of limited land space, appeal to the state government to developed modalities on how to make it an ICT based, where the younths will be relevant to compete with their contemporaries across the globe. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the current leadership style in the country, where youths are not given prominent roles to lead while agitating for youth inclusion to build the next generation leaders. He lauded the youth wing of the church for finding him worthy to be among the awardees and enjoined them to continue to be good ambassadors of Christ.

Responding the diocesan president of young men’s fellowship Mr. Uduak Okokon said the award bestow upon him was in recognition of his enormous contributions to humanity adding that Arc. Nya-Etok have proven himself to be a paragon of humility that he deserved to be celebrated and emulated by the youths to build egalitarian society for all.
