Worried by continuous decayed in the education sector and poor attitude to work by some teachers under the Akwa Ibom State employed, Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Education Monitoring Akparawa Udeme Udofia has called on all team players in the education sector to step up their game, bring in more efforts to ensure that huge resources committed by the government is not a waste.
Udofia made the appealed during his routine school monitoring in some school in Oruk Anam local Government Area.
While pointing out government huge investment on education sector, Udofia urged the students, teachers and other team player in the sector to reciprocate government gesture by redoubling their efforts towards achieving a brighter future.He retested on government determination to sustain it laudable goals and visions in ensuring that an ordinary Akwa Ibom child received the best training that will enabling him or her to compete favourably with it counterpart anyway in the country.
In a chat with Corper’s Liaison Officer (CLO) in Oruk Anam local Government, Udofia tasks him on intensive monitoring to ensure that federal government resources committed in paying corps members add value to students in their various school’s, morally and academically.
Some schools visited include; Community Secondary School, Mbiakot, Faith Tabernacle Mission School, Nung Ita, Southern Anang Comprehensive Secondary School, Ikot Okoro, Government School, Ntak Obio Akpa, Government School, Nung Ikot Obiodo, Community Secondary Commercial School, Ikot Afanga, All in Oruk Anam local Government Area.
