- INFO BOSS CHARLES UDOH KSJ The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will be in Akwa Ibom State to Commission projects and also deliver sermon as part of activities marking the celebration of 32 years of statehood.
Among the projects to be commissioned by the Vice President on Saturday 21st September, 2019, include, a foremost Digitized Power sub-Station in West Africa, located in Ekim, Mkpat Enin LGA and the King’s flour mill in Okat, Onna LGA, among others.
Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Information, Sir Charles Udoh, who has been on different Radio programmes recently in Uyo to drum to the public the activities of the 32nd anniversary celebration, hinted that, the Ekim power sub-Station is a major booster to the Industrialization-drive of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
Sir Charles Udoh said, the Ekim sub-station will provide power to the surrounding 5 LGAs as well as the Virgin oil Coconut Refinery and the Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU in Mkpat Enin.
According to the State’s spokesman, Prof. Osinbajo will also be the homilist during the anniversary inter-denominational Thanksgiving Service scheduled to hold on Sunday 22nd September at the Uyo Township Stadium by 10am on the theme: “For I believe God” (Acts 27:25).
He therefore called on all Akwa Ibom people to share in all activities of the anniversary which is a celebration of industrialization and development of Akwa Ibom State under the visionary leadership of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
