… Eric Akpan, Paul Ekpo, Aniekan Bassey round off ward tour, promise effective representation
The Political Leader of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, Gen. Paul Isang (Rtd.) has commended the Wards political leaders and other critical stakeholders for putting structures and massive mobilisation of voters, indicating readiness for February Presidential and National Assembly elections and March, Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections in the area.

Gen. Isang made the commendation during the PDP candidates for House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate ward-ward campaigns across the Ten wards of Nsit Ibom LGA.
The political leader who joined the campaign train tour of the wards, appreciated the support Nsit Ibom people have drummed for the PDP and said their support will not be in vain.
In his words, “My sincere appreciation goes to the good people of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, for their unalloyed support for our great party, PDP”.
“All the Ten wards have demonstrated zeal and commitment to deliver PDP at the polls.

“Nsit Ibom people are unrepentant in giving its support to the rulling party, PDP. The voters are ready, the dates are drawing near and PDP shall emerge victorious at the polls”.
He called on the candidates for various legislatures to bring back dividends of democracy to the people when elected as their representatives.
“Let me use this opportunity to call on the candidates to deliver return of investment (dividends of democracy) to the electorates, when voted into office.
“Social amenities and human capacity development are ingredients of democracy, these and lots more, are the expectations of the electorates, after elections”.

“As far as the 2023 elections are concerned, I want to plead with our coordinators and political stakeholders to double up their efforts to vote Pastor Umo Bassey Eno as your next Governor and also ensure victory for other candidates of the party including the party’s presidential candidate,” he said.
Recall that the candidates of the People’s Democratic party for Nsit Ibom State constituency, Rt. Hon. Eric Akpan, Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal constituency, Obong Paul Ekpo and Uyo senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey have flagged off their campaigns in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area to canvass for votes in the forthcoming elections.
The colourful campaigns witnessed massive turn out which began with Mbiaso ward 5/4, to Mbiaso ward 2/3. On the day three of the tour, the campaign train landed Mbiaso ward 1/ Asang 5, to Asang Ward 4/3 and was rounded off with Asang Ward 2 /1 on Friday, January 13, 2023.
